General provisions

The charitable organization “Charitable Foundation “Second Breath of UA”” (hereinafter referred to as the “Fund”, “we”) respects your privacy and ensures the protection of personal data in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and the GDPR regulation insofar as it applies to EU citizens.

This Policy applies to the website secondwindua.org and all services we provide within the framework of our statutory activities.

What data do we collect?

We collect only the data that is necessary for the operation of the fund, fulfillment of donor obligations, and communication:

  • First and last name, contact email and phone number — when you make a donation, fill out a volunteer or partner form.
  • Payment data — processed exclusively by the payment provider; we only store the transaction ID and amount.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, time of visit, page transitions.
  • Data you send directly — letters, messages on social networks, applications for participation in programs.

Purpose of data processing

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Carrying out charitable transactions and issuing fiscal documents.
  • Processing applications for participation in the foundation’s programs, volunteering, and partnerships.
  • Informing about the fund’s activities, reporting to donors, news.
  • Improving the performance of the site and services based on analytical data.
  • Compliance with the requirements of current Ukrainian legislation.

Processing basis

The legal grounds for processing personal data are: your voluntary consent, performance of a contract (for example, a public offer agreement for a charitable contribution), legitimate interests of the foundation, and compliance with legal requirements.

Transfer to third parties

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes. Data may only be transferred to:

  • Payment providers (LiqPay, Fondy, Stripe, etc.) – to process transactions.
  • To mailing and analytics services (Google Analytics, Meta) – in an impersonal form.
  • To government agencies – as required by law.

Cookies and analytics

Storage and protection

We store data only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes of processing or as required by law. Only authorized employees of the foundation who have signed a non-disclosure agreement have access to the data. Technically, the data is protected by channel encryption (HTTPS) and backups.

  • Know exactly what data about you is being processed.
  • Obtain a copy of this data in a machine-readable format.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data or its deletion.
  • Withdraw your consent to processing at any time.
  • File a complaint with the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Policy changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The most current version is always available on this page, indicating the date of the last update. We will additionally notify donors and subscribers of significant changes by email.
