In Ivano-Frankivsk, the “Second Wind” charity foundation has opened a climbing center for military personnel, veterans and veterans who have lost limbs. Training takes place every Friday at the Zachipka climbing wall in the Promprilad space.
The initiative aims to help veterans return to active life through sports, community, and support from people with similar experiences. Training is free for members of the “Second Wind“community.
“Climbing helps restore coordination, balance, endurance, and trust in one’s own body after injuries and loss of a limb,” the community notes.

Classes are held every Friday at 5:30 PM at the Zachipka climbing wall (Promprylad, 23D Ukrainy Peremohy St.).
The “Second Breath” community also organizes field trips to the mountains for veterans who have lost limbs. This is an opportunity to feel supported, return to activities, and be with people who understand your path. Current announcements of trips and program details are on the community’s Instagram page at the link.
